Kenzo is my first Japanese Terrier and the first to be imported into the country. He is also the first ever Japanese Terrier to be registered/recorded in the US. He is everything I've dreamt of. A confident, athletic, and firecracker guy all in a small compact body. He is a vital part of growing the breed in the country with his beautiful expressions with a strong stable body. Kenzo will do anything and everything I challenge him to do. He is extremely food motivated making training easier and fun. He has no fear and adapts to new situations easily. He enjoys wrestling with Raisin, hiking, and climbing trees. As a terrier, there are times when he will really test my nerves and is one mischievous guy. True to the breed, he does not like strangers coming and touching him. He is very cautious around strangers and tends to observe first to see if they're "safe". He has no issue alerting of any strange behaviors and will bark even to close family members if they look strange and he can't identify them from afar.
Kenzo is currently training and competing in conformation, agility, barn hunt, and lure coursing.
